Travel on the Chepe
One of the most impressive train rides in the world.
Its 653-kilometer route crosses the “Barrancas del Cobre”, a series of unique canyons between Chihuahua and Sinaloa. Throughout the trip you will go through tunnels and cross bridges that are a jewel of Mexican engineering, plus you will see one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Mexico. Venture into the highlands and get to know one of Mexico’s most impressive natural wonders aboard the Chihuahua-Pacific (Chepe) train. Walk in its forests, observe its vegetation, visit historical sites and enter its towns, rich in culture and traditions. Along the route you will reach different altitudes, ranging from 100 to 2,400 meters above sea level, a characteristic that generates different micro climates. Live a unique experience in Mexico through incredible places aboard our trains. The train is integrated by 6 passenger cars, a bar car, a restaurant and a terrace, with a total capacity to transport 340 people.
You will be able to enjoy the best comforts during the more than 350 kilometers journey. During the trip you will be able to visit the terrace and the bar, as well as to taste the flavors of the region offered by the Urike restaurant. You will also have the possibility to get off at El Fuerte, Divisadero and Creel.
